ORTHODONTICS

Orthodontics deals with proper arrangement of misaligned teeth. There are various method of Orthodontic treatment. They are :

1. ALIGNERS : They are recently advanced method of orthodontic treatment. Aligners are invisible and aesthetically very good. No wires and so very comfortable. Reduced number of doctor visit when compared to conventional one.

2. METAL CONVENTIONAL BRACES : More commonly used braces. They use elastics for moving the tooth.

3. SELF LIGATING METAL BRACES : They eliminate the need to tie the wire with elastic. They are more comfortable than conventional brackets.

4. CERAMIC BRACES : They are tooth coloured brackets which appear more natural when compared to metal brackets. They need great care because the brackets are fragile in nature.
